What to Expect - Exterior House
Painting
At Integrity Painting many years of experience have shown
us that a systematic approach helps us to provide the high
quality job that we have committed you.
Here is a list of the most common steps found on our
project. We believe that this will help you to know what you
can expect from Integrity Painting. Since each
project is different the exact steps will vary depending on the
size and scope of your specific project.
Set-up
Plants, sidewalks and driveways are covered as necessary.
Windows and doors are covered with tape and plastic to project
them depending on the scope of work. Light fixtures are removed
or protected. A paint preparation area is identified and setup
with protective floor covering. We have found that having a
designated area keeps our projects organized and our clients
happy. The preparation area is the location that our painters
will replenish their paint supplies and store their tools.
Wash
Areas are pressure washed to remove dirt and mildew. Our
painters pay particular attention to
KILL the mildew, not
just clean it. This prevents the mildew from growing back and
ruining your new paint job.
Surface Preparation
Stucco is repaired as needed. Caulking can be performed
depending on the scope of work defined. All loose paint is
scraped off.
Painting
A high quality coat of paint is applied to the appropriate
surfaces.
Clean-up
All trash and debris is removed from the project at the
completion of our work. All of our materials are removed.
Inspect
Throughout the project, the onsite supervisor will be
inspecting the project to insure the job is done our high
standards. At the end of the project we invite our client to
inspect the job.
